Welcome To Dogwood Knolls

The Dogwood Neighborhood Crime Watch would like to welcome you to our quiet neighborhood located in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Our neighborhood watch organization was formed in 2009. We put up street signs to announce to anyone passing through that we encourage respect for our community. We have are also active in working with the sheriff's office to enforce local speed signs.

Our approximate 100 homeowners openly welcome you to Buncombe County. You will find the neighborhood is filled with a diversity of homeowners, which includes veterans who have served our nation. We come from all walks of life.

You will find professional young couples to retired seniors. Some have come to this area from other parts of the country, be it California, New Jersey, Wisconsin or outside the United States. And on warm days you may find some of them walking up and down Dogwood Drive, giving you a friendly wave as you pass by.

If you wish to be involved in our volunteer Neighborhood Watch Program, please click here to email us with your name, address and contact email address. You will then become part or our NICE program. NICE is where neighbors through, our email communication, can announce their annual activities such as a garage sale or contributions for a cookout. NICE is available from May 1st. through September 30th.

You can also announce an event, asking others to join you be it a front yard sale or a get together. We will then email your request to our community. If any homeowners on the list are interested in more information, they will contact you. It's that simple.

During the summer months, our organization will notify you through NICE about any special meeting to discuss safety and crime issues, which would be provided by local guest government authorities. We hope you will find time to attend.

Finally, be sure to go over our Dogwood Knolls homepage. There you will find many links to activities in the area, from nearby Weaverville to downtown Asheville. There are also a few links to state activities. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
