With NICE you can email an event you are planning for announcement to the general Dogwood Knolls Community. The event may include, for example, a garage sale, moving sale or special activity you want to hold such as a shared cookout.
If you have already provided your email, street address and name to the Neighborhood Watch group, you are enrolled in NICE.
If not, to join NICE, click here and provide your name, street address and email. Then later, when needed, you can email us information on the event you are considering. NICE will be available from May 1st until September 30th. Your event announcement will be released within 48 hours, so plan ahead.
We will then pass it on to the rest of the community, to inform them that you are planning a special event they may want to participate in.
Those interested in joining your activity will contact you for the date, time and more information. It will be your responsibility to keep them informed of any changes or additions until the event is over. Click here for basic rules and disclaimers when using NICE.
In addition, the Neighborhood Crime Watch will sent out an email to invite you to at least one general meeting that will feature a local expert or official on ways to protect your home from crime or on safety issues.
* Please check with the county sheriff for rules and regulations for any large cookout that may partially use a side street for the event.
